How It Works

Round Robin adds a whole new dimension of flexibility for your team, offering two intuitive options for distributing alerts:

1. Distribute Evenly

Want to make sure everyone shares the load? This option moves to the next target for each new alert and whenever the policy repeats. It’s great for keeping things fair and balanced across your team – reducing alert fatigue and stress.

2. Distribute Consistently

Prefer a more predictable path? With this option, alerts always start with the first target and only move to the next person when your policy repeats – perfect if your team wants a consistent go-to contact for all new alerts.

You can also “Add additional targets” to your escalation policies — think Slack channels, external team members, webhooks, or even other escalation policies.

Once configured, your policies are laid out in a way that’s clean, clear, and easy to understand at a glance.
